The following is a partial list of the teams achievements:

Extension of Enterprise Applications. Meidum has provided the avenue for customers to extend ROI in core business applications, by melding existing software assets with new mobile devices.

Complete mobile point of sale system using a host to html server and Symbol PocketPC devices. This was a complex blend of retail and distribution applications and provided an industry unique solution to servicing commercial and retail lumber customers.
Integration of web based software and Symbol devices to create full mobile computing capabilities, at 9 warehouse locations, to manage materials and inventory operations. This solution included complete wireless infrastructure, Mobile devices and development of existing procedures into new, real time workflow applications.
This solution creates a mobile version of an existing, crt based managers’ ordering system for use by store managers. The solution is deployed at 600 retail outlet locations.

Improvements and enhancements of existing business processes

Capture 2D bar code drivers license data to fill out new member enrollment forms. Previously this process was done by hand at 250 busy service desks, but now is performed by a single button press. Team Meidum made a planned technology upgrade far more effective with a greater ROI by streamlining this business process.
Team Meidum developed a highly ergonomic, wearable scanning system for use in high value jewelry rooms located in multiple distribution centers. Development included multi vendor hardware integration utilizing mobile devices and Bluetooth peripherals, as well as guiding the development of a mobile TN5250 client to PocketPC mobile computing devices
In Aisle wireless tag printing extends a legacy, terminal based application out through the instore wireless network ,to a mobile computer teamed with a wireless tag printer. Tag updates and price reductions are made at the product location and affixed with less chance of placement error.
